With them all along the line: ZIENER has been equipping the German Ski Association (DSV) national instruction teams since 2002, thus supporting their work on the German ski slopes and cross-country trails.

"We and our DSV national teaching teams have been relying on ZIENER Teamwear’s quality and functionality for many years. We are delighted to be able to expand our successful partnership with ZIENER and provide all DSV ski schools with an exclusive range. The high-quality technical ZIENER Teamwear is ideally suited to the wide range of uses by training supervisors and ski instructors in different weather conditions and temperatures. We would love to work together to make the DSV Ski School brand stronger and better known through a consistent image," says Thomas Braun, board member for sports development and education at the DSV, about the collaboration.

At ZIENER, the partnership is also deeply valued. "The collaboration with the German Ski Association’s national teaching teams, which has been very important to us since 2002 and continues to this day, is reflected year after year in the ZIENER Teamwear. We were able to implement many of the valuable ideas and concepts from all those who spend every day out in the snow in our Teamwear collection," says Managing Director Frank Burig.

Since its foundation in 1905, 20 regional ski associations have joined the DSV along with about 4,500 clubs and around 600,000 club members. The DSV represents the interests of German skiing at an international level and is also the largest national ski instructors' organisation in the world, with over 30,000 trained and certified ski instructors in the disciplines of alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, touring, snowboarding, Telemark skiing and inline skiing.
In order to teach skiing to as many people as possible and to guarantee that teaching is adapted in line with developments in materials and skiing techniques, the German ski teaching system has also grown over the years. Meanwhile, the ski association has about 400 licensed DSV ski schools with 4,400 ski instructors.
The DSV Ski and Snowboard Instructor School is responsible for organising, coordinating and processing the central course activities for the mass sports sector, including the activities of the DSV national teaching teams for the basic and advanced training of A-Trainers for skiing, the LSV instructors as well as DSV ski instructors.
