ZIENER has further refined its climate targets and had them validated by the Science Based Targets initiative at the end of February 2026. The international organization confirmed that the targets are scientifically grounded and aligned with the 1.5°C goal of the Paris Agreement. With this validation, ZIENER reinforces its commitment to combating climate change. The family-owned company aims to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by 42 percent by 2030 compared to the 2020 base year. The approved climate targets meet the highest requirements of the SBTi and apply exclusively to Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, covering emissions from the company’s own sites, energy generation, and vehicle fleet. A key measure for reducing emissions was already implemented in 2024: by converting both locations in Oberammergau to renewable energy sources — particularly biogas and green electricity — the company has already achieved significant progress.

PFAS-free finishes are water- and dirt-repellent treatments that are manufactured without per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). PFAS are considered harmful to both the environment and human health, as they are highly persistent and can accumulate in nature and living organisms. Modern, environmentally friendly DWR (Durable Water Repellency) finishes provide reliable protection against the elements—completely without PFAS. This keeps the material dry while protecting the environment.
We are working closely with our suppliers to improve transparency. Despite the conscious avoidance of PFAS, trace amounts cannot be entirely ruled out.

For all riders who value a comfortable and soft grip, the highly shock-absorbing palms with COMFORT PRO technology were designed. The high-quality, shock-absorbing padding covers a large area and adapts to the individual anatomy of the hand, preventing pressure points. This provides support for the hand exactly where the rider needs it. The additional, very soft palm material with a non-slip surface structure ensures excellent tactility and optimal grip on the handlebars.

The Comfort level combines two layers of open-cell foam with different degrees of firmness. This construction ensures balanced cushioning, reduces vibrations, and offers a pleasantly stable seating experience—ideal for short to medium distances in everyday use.

Comfort Plus enhances the basic system with a perforated gel insert. In combination with open-cell foam, this results in improved pressure distribution and significantly higher shock absorption. Perforations also ensure better ventilation and a more comfortable seating climate—even on longer journeys.
