FairWertung

At Ziener, we are committed to a resource-conserving textile development process. As we always strive for optimal fit and quality for long-term use of the products, it is necessary to produce samples that are not for public sale. Surplus samples are given to our employees and the orphanage in Oberammergau is allowed to choose the items they want. We made a donation to FairWertung e.V. in 2023 in order to put leftover gloves and textiles to good use.

BSCI

ZIENER is a member of the amfori Business Social Compliance Initiative (amfori BSCI). This initiative aims to gradually improve working conditions in production facilities. An independent monitoring and qualification system ensures that snapshots of the social performance in the production facilities are provided. This is based on a comprehensive code of conduct that all members support. As an amfori member, ZIENER is committed to integrating its production facilities into this cycle of training and audits and to supporting the implementation of the amfori BSCI codes of conduct.

ClimatePartner-certified

Ziener is ClimatePartner-certified! This means that we have calculated our greenhouse gas emissions, defined reduction targets, continuously implement reductions and finance climate protection projects. With the ClimatePartner-certified label and the associated Climate ID website, we communicate transparently about these steps. ClimatePartner-certified companies include direct emissions generated within the company (electricity and heat generation, vehicle fleet, volatile gases) and indirect emissions from purchased energy, business travel and employee commuting The certification does not cover indirect emissions generated outside the company, e.g. from the manufacture of raw materials and preliminary products, external logistics and the use and disposal of products or other processes. More information can be found on the Climate-ID website.
