PFC FREE

In the case of PFC-free products, attention is paid to an environmentally friendly PFC-free impregnation that offers the same level of water repellency. PFC (perfluorinated and polyfluorinated chemicals) refers to a large group of chemicals that are intermediates, excipients or de-gradation products of certain fluorocarbon compounds. These are environmentally harmful substances. PFCs are used because of their water-, dirt- and grease-repel-lent properties. ZIENER is constantly working to remove the questionable PFCs from the lifecycle of its products.

REPAIR SERVICE

ZIENER will replace or repair items covered by the limi-ted warranty within the normal product life specified by ZIENER. The product life is determined by customer ser-vice based on the age of the product and the nature of the defect. Damages caused by wear and tear, improper use, abrasion or negligence are excluded from the warranty, but can be repaired at a reasonable price.

The production of the freeride-oriented mittens is both carbon-neutral and PFC-free. The product contains recycled material – for a sustainable and environmentally friendly product cycle. Comfortable padding made of lavalan® alpine wool keeps the hands comfortably warm, while at the same time being highly breathable. The particularly stretchy and soft PONTETORTO fleece material with wool content on the outer surface guarantees both warmth and a high level of comfort. The soft, comfortable leather palms provide the perfect grip on the ski poles. The ZIENER repair service rounds off the environmentally friendly ski mittens. Includes wide leash and clasp fasteners on the palms. Contains non-textile parts of animal origin.
