PFAS-free finishes are water- and dirt-repellent treatments that are manufactured without per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). PFAS are considered harmful to both the environment and human health, as they are highly persistent and can accumulate in nature and living organisms. Modern, environmentally friendly DWR (Durable Water Repellency) finishes provide reliable protection against the elements—completely without PFAS. This keeps the material dry while protecting the environment.

We are working closely with our suppliers to improve transparency. Despite the conscious avoidance of PFAS, trace amounts cannot be entirely ruled out.
