In the case of PFC-free products, attention is paid to an environmentally friendly PFC-free impregnation that offers the same level of water repellency. PFC (perfluorinated and polyfluorinated chemicals) refers to a large group of chemicals that are intermediates, excipients or de-gradation products of certain fluorocarbon compounds. These are environmentally harmful substances. PFCs are used because of their water-, dirt- and grease-repel-lent properties. ZIENER is constantly working to remove the questionable PFCs from the lifecycle of its products.

The functional ZIENER men’s rain jacket NARON MAN is the perfect companion for all bike tours: the waterproof, windproof and breathable AQUASHIELD® membrane (hydrostatic head 15,000 mm / breathability 15,000g/m²/24h) ensures a pleasant, dry climate in any wind and weather. In addition, the seams are taped and the front zips are waterproof. Thanks to the fixed hood with high collar, you are always protected from the rain. The elasticated cuffs and hood as well as the width adjustment on the hem and hood ensure the perfect fit. The jacket’s stretchy material ensures optimal freedom of movement. The ventilation options on the front and back provide the necessary air circulation. Two zippered side pockets provide plenty of storage space for essential items. The jacket comes with decorative, reflective design elements. The product is PFC-free thanks to its environmentally friendly waterproofing.
