Durch unseren Sitz in Oberammergau kommen wir jeden Tag mit der schönsten Natur in Berührung – Wälder, Wiesen und Gipfel. Genau deshalb wissen wir, wie wichtig es ist, respektvoll mit unserem Lebensraum umzugehen, Ressourcen zu schonen und achtsam zu leben. In Zeiten, in denen wir die Klimaveränderungen spürbar wahrnehmen können, ist es wichtig, dass sich jeder für die Umwelt engagiert und aktiv wird. Unserer Klimaschutz-Philosophie entsprechend setzen wir in der Entwicklung unserer Produkte auf nachhaltige Materialien wie LAVALAN® Alpinewool, Sympatex® und viele mehr. Wir sind sehr stolz darauf, dass sich ZIENER als klimaneutrales Unternehmen bezeichnen kann. Seit 2020 errechnet ClimatePartner jährlich für unseren Standort in Oberammergau, unsere Website und die nachhaltige EX4-Handschuhkollektion eine CO2-Bilanz – die ermittelten Treibhausgasemissionen werden nun durch national und international anerkannte Klimaschutzprojekte kompensiert. Die Klimaneutralität ist für jeden nachvollziehbar über die Climate ID (13338-1910-1001) Tracking von ZIENER. DEFINITION KLIMANEUTRALITÄT Klimaneutralität bedeutet, dass der Carbon Footprint eines Unternehmens, Produktes oder Services auf Grundlage international anerkannter Standards berechnet und durch die Unterstützung von internationalen Klimaschutzprojekten vollständig ausgeglichen wurde. Das Label “klimaneutral” von ClimatePartner bescheinigt den Ausgleich nicht vermeidbarer Treibhausgasemissionen. WAS BEDEUTET KLIMANEUTRAL BEI ZIENER? 1. CO2 berechnen Zusammen mit ClimatePartner berechnen wir sämtliche CO2-Emissionen, die am Standort in Oberammergau sowie durch die Produktion der Ex4-Handschuhkollektion und unsere Website entstehen. 2. CO2 vermeiden und reduzieren In Oberammergau beziehen wir emissionsfreien Ökostrom. Bei unseren Produkten achten wir auf Langlebigkeit und hochwertige Materialien. 3. CO2 ausgleichen Über unsere Klimaschutzprojekte Bergwaldprojekt im Oberallgäu, Waldschutz in der Mongolei und Waldschutz in Kolumbien gleichen wir alle unvermeidbaren Emissionen aus. Kennzeichnung des Produktes als klimaneutral Eine Auswahl an Handschuhen ist mit dem ClimatePartner - Label als klimaneutral gekennzeichnet. DEFINITION CARBON NEUTRALITY Carbon neutrality means that the carbon footprint of a company, product, service or event has been calculated on the basis of internationally recognised standards and fully offset by supporting international climate action projects. ClimatePartner‘s label „carbon neutral“ certifies that unavoidable greenhouse gas emissions have been offset. WHAT DOES CLIMATE-NEUTRAL MEAN BY ZIENER? 1. Calculate carbon emissions Together with ClimatePartner, we calculated all the carbon emissions arising at the facility in Oberammergau and as a result of the production of the Ex4 collection. 2. Avoid and reduce CO2 In Oberammergäu, we get emission-free green power. We focus on durability and high-quality materials for our products. 3. Offset carbon emissions We offset all our unavoidable emissions through our forest conservation carbon offset project in Mongolia, international carbon offset project combinded with additional regional commitment and forest protection Mataven in Colombia.
