EXPLANATION 2- & 3-LAYERS In 2-layer jackets, the membrane and outer fabric are joined and the lining is hooked into the jacket. In 3-layer jackets, the outer fabric, membrane and lining are laminated into one layer. The membrane is thus completely protected from friction from above and below, which means that the jackets are generally rated as more robust and durable. HOW TO DRESS WELL? Use the layers principle to be prepared for all weather and tempera- ture fluctuations, so that you don‘t sweat too much while exercising and thus cool down too quickly. High-quality functional clothing is important here, which you then layer: the first layer should be bre- athable and quick-drying, as it lies directly on the skin. The second insulating layer can be adapted to the temperature. A breathable, waterproof and windproof layer is recommended as the top layer.
