That’s why well-known professional athletes like Mirl Buchner, Christian and Felix Neureuther, Rosi Mittermaier, Maria Höfl-Riesch, Viktoria Rebensburg or Thomas Dreßen celebrated their victories in ZIENER gloves. Thanks to these successful events and collaborations, ZIENER has established itself as a strong brand in both professional winter sports and teamwear. There is also a long family tradition behind the company’s 75-year history. The ZIENER company is now looking towards its transition to the fourth generation and aims to continue producing highly functional clothing and gloves with 100% pas- sion, many years of experience and innovative developments for ambitious winter and bike athletes. 2007/2008 The ÖSV Nordic Team (ski jumping, Nordic combi- ned, cross-country skiing & biathlon) as well as the Swiss Freestyle National Team start their competitions wearing tailormade ZIENER gloves from Oberammergau. From the 2007/08 season onwards ZIENER also supplies the German Ski Association’s Freestyle & Skicross team with gloves and clothing. 2010 After 1984 ZIENER equips the German Na- tional Alpine Ski Team with gloves again. Felix Neureuther, Viktoria Rebensburg & Maria Höfl-Riesch receive specially designed gloves. 2011/2012 With beginning of season 2011/12 ZIENER equips the Alpine Natio- nal Team of the German Disabled Sports Asso- ciation (DPS) and its junior team with racing and team clothing. Additionally ZIENER is supplier of the Italian nordic athletes. 2014/2015 In the winter season 2014/2015 the glo- ve specialist ZIENER brings for the first time high-quality technical, heated ski gloves on the market. 2017/2018 In the winter of 2017/2018, the function specialist, ZIENER is fal- ling back on its extensi- ve experience in winter sports and developing for the first time a high- quality clothing line for active winter athletes. 2018 ZIENER is expanding its brand presence with a picture logo from Winter 2018/2019. ZIENER’s affi- nity for winter sports and biking was picked up in the design: the three lines of the „Z“ represent the different slopes and their average gradients. At the same time, the hashtag #canyouridetheline was launched to call winter and biking athletes on social media channels to the next adventure. 75 YEARS OF ZIENER 75 years of development, design & cutting of from Oberammergau 2020 ZIENER can call itself a climate-neutral compa- ny from January 2020 onwards. ClimatePartner prepares a carbon balance for the Oberammergau site – the calculated greenhou- se gas emissions are offset by nationally and interna- tionally recognised climate protection projects. ZIENER also expands its range for the Winter 20/21 season with the sustainable Ex4 gloves line.
